Who am I?
I'm Nicky, an aspiring animator, cartoonist and game designer who has dabbled once or twice in making music. Born and raised in Australia, I am always contemplating new ways to bring my creative visions to life.
I began my artistic journey quite young, experimenting with art programs to imitate the style of Saturday morning cartoons as well as various web-series' I had encountered. After falling in love with this new medium, I set about crafting exciting worlds, filled with loveable characters going on amazing adventures.
After self-learning most of what I know, I entered the STUFFit Film Festival with my solo short film, 'Ojo: The light within'. It took home 3 awards, Best senior animation, Best original soundtrack, as well as the People's choice award. This cemented my future as an animator, and I've been creating ever since.
I have recently graduated from the University of the Sunshine Coast with a Bachelor of Creative Industries, and have since found time to build my YouTube channel and Instagram page.
